On September 12, at the “EmTech China Global Emerging Science and Technology Summit and TR50, 50 Smartest Companies Release and Award Ceremony” hosted by MIT Technology Review in China, Startorus Fusion, with its innovative technological solutions, breakthroughs and clear commercialization paths in the field of controllable nuclear fusion, has successfully included in the list of “TR50, 50 Smartest Companies” in 2025. Chen Rui, Founder and CEO of the company, was invited to attend the summit and delivered a keynote speech, sharing in depth the development trend, technological prospects and business practices of the fusion energy industry.

In his speech, Chen Rui elaborated on the commercialization promotion plan of Startorus Fusion. The company has planned a clear development path from experimental apparatus, engineering verification apparatus to demonstration power plants, and is expected to achieve demonstration operation of fusion power generation around 2032. Once fusion energy is commercialized, it will leverage a trillion-level global clean energy market and bring subversive changes to global industry, agriculture, ecological governance and even space exploration.
